Barber Bio - Danny Aylmer

After nearly 30 years in Corporate America, I decided to pursue a lifelong dream of opening a barbershop in my hometown. My career as a barber started back in 1990 with 'clipper fades' and 'low-taper' haircuts for my brothers, Joe & Mike, and friends from the neighborhood. Decades passed and I continued cutting hair for friends and family outside of corporate working hours. In 2023, owner of The Men's Club Barbershop (located in Roxborough - Philadelphia), Tim O'Brien, graciously gave me the opportunity to formally train as an apprentice. With love & support from my wife, Kristine, and sons, Charlie & Melo, I became a licensed State of Pennsylvania Barber in 2024. 

We are excited for this next chapter and to welcome you to Union Street Barbershop! We've created a relaxed and welcoming space where you can get a classic cut and style.
